Thijs von Barnau Sythoff

While studying architecture at the University of Technology in Delft, Thijs acquired a passion for radically circular architecture, which then led him to an internship at Superuse. During this internship (2022), Thijs was involved in the realisation of Blade–Made’s exposition for the Dutch Design Week 2022. Blade–Made’s vision on material use and it’s mission to make a change has always stuck with him through finishing his Masters degree. After succesfully delivering his final project on material reuse in the built environment, Thijs joined the Blade–Made team in September 2024.
